    		Our home computer is set to visit thehungersite.com each time we log on the internet (which is too often, with three boys!). The advertisers on this site donate a cup of food to development charities each time you visit the site.

    Soil Association soil association

    		We are registered with the Soil Association for packing of organic goods and are inspected on an annual basis to ensure we meet their stringent conditions. Soil Association registration means that we maintain records so that any time we pack can be traced back through the supply chain to the grower. In the EU it is a legal requirement that those packing organic food are registered with an approved body.

    Ethical Junction making ethical choices easy

    		When ever possible we like to purchase goods that are produced ethically. For more information on the ethical choices visit the ethical junction.

    Elmhurst Farm Ron and Ann Pattison (tel 01788 832233) have an award winning orgainc farm at Bow Lane Withybrooke, with a shop open everyday except Thursday and Sunday. They sell a large range of meat produced on the farm.

    We can arrange to have your order at Elmhurst Farm for collection. Kim is there with her cakes and Ernie has organic veg in the barn by the car park. If you would like to collect your order from the farm just ring me a week before. Why not go and have a walk around the farm at the same time?

    Community Foods Community Foods are the UK's largest importer and exporter of Wholefoods. Since 2000 we have worked with Community Foods to supply any retail customer enquiries they receive.

    Green People Green People offer a range of products for an organic lifestyle

    Kims Cakes

    		Kim lives in Nuneaton and bakes delicious cakes which we have had on our list since November 1999, just the thing for a bit of luxury.

    Bambury Farm

    		Nick and Sue Staines run an organic box scheme from their farm in Peatling Magna for details ring 0116 247 8907. They deliver to south Leicestershire and Leicester.

    Chevelswarde Organic Growers

    		Since 1975 Ruth and John Daltry at Chevelswarde have grown organic vegetables in South Kilworth. They run a box scheme, for details ring 01858 575309.

    Claybrooke Mill

    		Our flour comes from Claybrooke Water Mill where Sally Eals mills a range of traditional stoneground flours in her own watermill, including :

  • Organic flours
  • White flour with a beautiful creamy texture.
  • Specialist flours and mixes for specialist needs
  • Nuthatch and Fieldfare flours mixed to his own recipe.

    Sally has Soil Association accreditation. On an historical point there is believed to have been a mill on the site for over 1,000 years.
